Window Cleaning Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to have your windows cleaned by JP Exterior Cleaning Services. We have terms and conditions so we can provide the best possible service and to inform you of how we operate. These conditions are standard for the industry. By having your windows cleaned we accept that you agree to the terms and conditions.

 

  • We offer an all year round regular service. We will clean your windows in all weather conditions including rain and very low temperatures.

  • If the weather conditions are extreme and we feel there will be a health and safety risk or a negative result to your clean we will aim to visit at the next available time slot.

  • Should we be unable to access any part of your property due to locked gates we will clean the accessible areas such as the front and sides and charge accordingly.

  • It is likely visits will be around the same day of the week every 4, 6, 8, or 12 weeks, however we cannot be held to a specific date or time.

  • We will send an email or SMS text message the day before we clean your windows to remind you to unlock your gates and close your windows/vents.

  • Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer, or direct debit, preferably on the day of the clean, however we do understand this is not always possible and advise you to get in contact if payment can't be made on the day of the clean.

  • All window cleans come with a 24 hour guarantee, so if you spot anything within 24 hours, please get in touch and we will put it right.

  • If you would like to skip a clean, we advise that you contact at least 7 days prior to our visit. If you are unsure of our next visit, please get in contact.

  • If you wish to cancel our services, please provide at least 7 days notice before the next scheduled visit. If you are unsure of our next visit, please get in contact.

  • We are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance.

  • We do not accept liability for damage caused by decorative or structural defects at your property, such as, but not limited to, ill fitting windows, doors, fascias, guttering, window/conservatory trims, unsecured windows and doors, leaking seals, loose stuck on lead, decorative bars stuck on glass, rotting frames, flaking paint, open/broken trickle vents, etc.

  • We do not accept responsibility for blown windows which can defined as “when a gap between the glass panels opens up, allowing moisture to seep into the window unit.” It’s likely to have occurred because of a compromised seal that has broken down due to age and environmental conditions (cold and heat overtime). Rain, moisture, and cleaning of the windows may have highlighted the compromised seal.

  • If you refer someone to us and we carry out work on their property, you are entitled to 50% off your next window clean. The person you referred must state your name when making the booking.
